the Government of HongKong. A copy of the

latest edition of the Colonial Regulations

is enclosed. The appointment is under the

Colonial Government and your emoluments will

be paid solely from the funds of the Colony.

If you are prepared to accept the

appointment on these conditions, you should

take an early opportunity of presenting

yourself to one of the Medical Advisers

whose names are given on the enclosed letter,

for the purpose of being medically examined,

and he will send his report direct to this

Department.

The fee will be paid by the
